Your own instance

PostgreSQL, MariaDB (MySQL-compatible) or Valkey (Redis-compatible) – with dedicated memory and CPU, not shared.

TLS and IP allowlist

Connections are encrypted and only allowed from addresses you approve. Without an entry the database cannot be reached from outside.

Daily backups

A full backup every night, kept according to your plan – restore with one click in the customer portal.

Point-in-time recovery

With PostgreSQL and MariaDB, go back to any point in time – for example to just before something was deleted by mistake.

Export any time

Full export as a download – your data belongs to you and can go anywhere.

No superuser risk

You get full rights to your database, we run the server – updates and monitoring included.

Which databases are available?

PostgreSQL, MariaDB (MySQL-compatible) and Valkey (Redis-compatible). You choose the type during setup in the customer portal – one dedicated instance per contract, not shared with other customers.

How do I connect?

Via the address in the customer portal with TLS encryption. The database can only be reached from IP addresses you allow – for example from your server or your Deploy app.

What is point-in-time recovery?

With PostgreSQL and MariaDB we store every change in addition to the nightly backup. So you can restore the database to any point in time within your plan's period – for example to just before something was deleted by mistake. Valkey has daily backups.

Do I get administrator rights?

You get a user with full rights to your database (with PostgreSQL including your own roles and additional databases). We run the server itself – updates, backups and monitoring are our job.

Can I take my data with me?

Yes. You can download a full export from the customer portal at any time (PostgreSQL dump, SQL file or RDB file).
