Hoster.gg Deploy: publish apps from GitHub

Hoster.gg Deploy cannot be booked yet. This guide describes how it will work after launch – to the product page.

Hoster.gg Deploy is available as its own plan (Portal → Deploy). “Connect with GitHub” installs the Hoster.gg GitHub app – on GitHub you choose which repositories it may see (read only + commit status). “New project”: choose repository and production branch, let the framework be detected automatically (Next.js, Nuxt, Astro, Vite, Node.js, PHP, Python, static sites or your own Dockerfile) or set commands/folder/port yourself, enter environment variables (also by pasting a .env; values are stored encrypted and can no longer be viewed afterwards, passed to the build as a secret, redacted in logs). After that every push to the production branch is built and published at <name>.apps.hoster.gg; every deployment has its own address. Pull requests in the same repository get a preview (depending on the plan) – PRs from forks are not built for security reasons. In the deployment: live log, cancel, “Build again”, “Make this version live” (rollback, the last 5 production versions), runtime log of the app. Hoster AI can analyse failed builds (1 AI credit). Own domains under settings (TXT for verification + CNAME). Build minutes, RAM and CPU per app depend on the plan.
