The Shop Builder is an add-on to a website or Hoster AI plan – the shop runs within your published builder website. You also need a Stripe account. The shop only sells once seller details, terms, withdrawal notice, privacy policy and a shipping method are in place – the portal shows you what is still missing. The legal texts provided are drafts and do not replace legal advice.

Which fees apply?

Hoster.gg only charges for the shop plan – no commission per sale. The fees of your Stripe account apply to payment processing.

Who is the seller?

You. Payments go through your own Stripe account, invoices carry your details. Hoster.gg only provides the technology.

Do I need the Website Builder?

Yes. The Shop Builder is an add-on to a website or Hoster AI plan – products and cart appear in your site’s design. You add it when ordering or later in the customer portal.

Does the shop work without JavaScript?

Yes. Catalogue, cart and checkout also work without JavaScript in the buyer’s browser.
