Dedicated servers: installation, reset, rescue system

After ordering, the server shows “being provisioned” in the portal (dedicated servers) – our team assigns the hardware to your contract, you then get an email. Then “Install operating system”: choose distribution and SSH key, confirm with “INSTALLIEREN” – the server restarts and all data on the disks is deleted; without an SSH key the root password is shown once. The installation usually takes 10 to 20 minutes. “Restart & power” offers the reset types the server supports (software restart, hardware reset, power button, reset by a technician). The rescue system starts an emergency Linux for the next boot (password shown once, optional immediate restart). Also: Wake on LAN, renaming, reverse DNS for the IPv4 addresses and addresses from the IPv6 network, and traffic per day in the current month. Hoster.gg makes no backups. With an open invoice the server is blocked (boot into the rescue system, data is kept) and released again after payment.
